APPLY NOW!
WHY DO YOU NEED IT?
• Research is an important part of the undergraduate, and postgraduate curricula in India and abroad.
• Research can be pursued by individuals in any educational or vocational field.
• Knowledge of the basics in research helps to understand and critically analyse scholarly work.
• Research helps to answer questions in a scientific manner rather than basing your conclusions on intuition, “common sense” or others’ views.
HOW DO WE TEACH RESEARCH?
The Summer School aims to cover the diverse elements of modern research. Successful applicants will be required to take an online pre-requisite course to take part in the Summer School. We use practical problems and examples from daily life to explain course content. Participants’ ideas will be built upon and the Summer School will be contextualized to suit their needs and/or interests. The Summer School aims to expose participants to the field of research through activity-based learning. Participants will be given take-home exercises and tasked with generating their research output, which will be presented on the concluding day of the Summer School. This will ensure that participants can successfully apply research skills to their research ideas independently.

Testimonials for the TENTH Annual Research Summer School (2025)
“I love the resource persons and their approachability. It not only makes the course far more fun, but it also makes participating online from a different country much less daunting than it typically is. The course is structured at a digestible pace without being too slow either. Their activities encourage participation from both the attendees in-person and online, the latter of which usually gets ignored in hybrid set-ups like this."
Jaimon Paul (Student, Psychology)
“The team dedicated ample time to building a strong foundation in academic writing. Every query was addressed thoroughly during each session, which greatly enhanced our understanding. The diversity of the speakers, combined with their practical expertise, was extremely valuable. Their ability to present real-world use cases made the sessions highly engaging. I also appreciated learning about various tools like Zotero. I see its potential extending far beyond research, as it can be highly useful in organizing information in everyday life."
Nikhil Gehlot (Graduate, Human Computer Interaction Design, Augmented & Virtual Reality)
“I liked the way the concepts were explained in a very simple manner. They also interacted & focused on everyone's research area. Nobody felt left out with their ideas.”
Sonu Gupta (PhD Student, Psychology)
“I liked the way they taught how to write research proposals covered diverse content. The Summer school was well planned and executed.”
Samata Mhaskar (Postgraduate, Economics)
