This article looks at slavery within the much-loved chocolate industry and focuses on measures taken by Cadbury, a multinational company that is a leading manufacturer of cocoa and chocolate; and compares it with the practices embraced by a newly established organization named Tony’s Chocolonely. It ends with a call of action urging multinational companies to adopt a more sustainable approach to supply chain management.
